I don't understand why you people spend crazy amounts of money on heat... I use electric baseboard heat and window air conditioners. 3 bedroom house = $240 summer $320 winter, thats total electric bill. Electric water heater and all. I keep my air conditioner on 67 and my heat on 59.

Probably the same dumba___ who drive around in big goofy $600 a month suvs that get 7mpg. My 02 Camaro cost $17798 new, and has been paid off for 18 months, gets 28mpg.

Well, C..... That's ok, but try that in a 2800sf house. We have central air $225 the high in the summer, and propane heat / hot water / clothes dryer that was $1000 last year. Both set on 70. Our electric drops to about $65 from October to May.....

Propane prices are not regulated. The range of propane pricing here in Minnesota is unbelievable! I bought my own tank and found significantly lower pricing offered by another propane supplier here in my area -a farmers cooperative. My last supplier told me they can't compete with the lower prices that I am now paying. Many propane suppliers pressure you into leasing their tank because they know that you are stuck buying from them and they can charge whatever they feel like charging. If you run into this situation, like I did, find another supplier ASAP!
